Her mother and her got kicked out when they couldn't pay rent. Now that her mother is dead, she's all alone. Merida is overworked and struggling to pay rent. She got fired from her old job as a waitress at a bar because she wasn't "pretty enough". Now she dropped out of school so that she could work too much and get paid too little. Eugene ran away from his orphanage. His parents died when he was just a baby, and since then he had been cooped up in the tiny, overcrowded orphanage. Jack got fired from his job at a bakery that gave him a home and food. They kicked him out and now he's stuck on the streets. Hiccup couldn't meet his father's expectations. When he told his father that he didn't want to do what he wanted him to do, they got into a huge fight and Hiccup moved out. But maybe it was destiny that this happened. Maybe they would all meet... This book will be darker than my other books.
