Following the death of her mother at the hands of her father, Denali had left the shifter life behind her. Being a female, she did not have the ability to shift, which made her decision easier. Everything seemed to fall into place with her decision when she sees a add for a maid position that offers room and board near a local college. Here, she could continue her mothers work and maybe one deal fulfill her dream. After she accepts, she finds out that her employer was the most well-known shifter in the shifter community. He is also the most sought-after male as well. He was a rich billionaire who had yet to find his mate and gave tons of female shifters hope of a better life. Denali is just relieved she will never see him. Who would come to their winter getaway in the middle of summer after all? Just days after she starts, he does just that. He pays them a surprise visit, then demands answers of the staff as soon as he arrives. He can smell his mate's scent, but there are too many she-wolves there to tell whose scent is whose. Xena, a girl who has fought with Denali since she arrives immediately steps forwards. Denali isn't sure she is right though. Something about his scent rouses something deep inside her. Something no She-wolf is supposed to have. Xena will do whatever she must to make him hers. She would even make Denali disappear, permanently. Being the daughter of another wealthy wolf, she could make it happen. Denali just needs to decide if he is worth risking everything for. If love is worth the leap of faith and risking everything. If she doesn't, Xena will live the life she deserves, with Denali's destined mate.

Young in age yet ancient in his fury, with burning eyes and a bloody history of ice & fangs. His beast-more prehistoric predator than a mere Alpha-rules the shadows as ruthlessly as he rules his pack, the infamous Black Devils. Whispers speak of a curse. Wolves born without mates, destined to lose themselves to the feral madness of their inner beasts. But then came her. ☆☆☆☆ Elena paused, her gaze sweeping over him. His nostrils flared, thick veins bulged along his neck and face, and his eyes were pitch black-voids of pure darkness. Elongated, inhuman ears twitched as sharp fangs pierced his lips. Any sane person would have run for their life. But to Elena, he had never looked more beautiful. ☆☆☆☆ After this book, you'll find yourself longing for that simple, powerful word-the one we all secretly yearn to hear once in a lifetime: MATE ☆☆☆☆ Some reviews from my awesome readers: annaglowka2005: "MASTERPIECE!!!!
